Mark Awdycki Named Interim Principal at Millis High School
Mark Awdycki has been chosen Interim Millis High School
Principal for the
2020-2021 school year.
“I am pleased to announce
Mr Awdycki as Interim Principal,” said retiring Millis Superintendent Nancy Gustafson. “He
has many impressive attributes
and is a very respected member
of the staff.”
Awdycki has worked at Millis High School for 13 years as

Advanced Placement program
as scores and participation levels rose to among the best in the
state. He was instrumental in developing the school’s Bridge Program, which helps students with
health challenges access the high
school curriculum.
Awdycki also assisted in the
implementation of the Signs
of Suicide Program for grades
9 and 12 to assist students in
recognizing when they or their
peers might be in need of mental
health support.
Current high school principal
Bob Mullaney noted that, “Mr
Awdycki has been an
incredible leader throughout
his time in Millis. He is highly
regarded and respected by students, staff, and parents. I have
supreme confidence that he will
help Millis High become a better
school.”
Prior to Millis High School,
Awdycki served as guidance
counselor at Hingham High
School. He and his wife,
Chris, live with their two sons in
Northborough.
