Please consider donating to the Millis Police and Fire Holiday Toy Drive this year. 100% of all the toys will go to children within our community. We will be collecting toys at the Millis Police Department and the Millis Fire Department. We ask that the toys are new and unwrapped. We will be collecting toys until December 14th! According to Detective Dale Bickford, who runs the drive, there is always a big need for gifts for children aged 13-17 years old. “We can’t take cash, but we can take gift cards (for this age group),” says Det. Bickford. The most popular, he says, are gift cards to Marshall’s, Target, Old Navy and Abercrombie and Fitch. Although a limited number of citizens are usually welcome to come help wrap the gifts, says Bickford, this year, due to the pandemic, only members of Millis Police & Fire will do the wrapping.
