Medway and Millis Honor Vets
The Town of Medway held a small, socially distanced Veterans’ Day event this year, in particular honoring Purple Heart recipients, as Medway was designated this year as a Purple Heart Community.
In its 100th year, the Millis American Legion Post 208 honored veterans as it does each year on Armistice Day, at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. A good number of masked townsfolk turned out on this blustery day to pay respect, and the Legion welcomed Sen. Becca Rausch and Veterans Services Officer John Moore in addition to town officials.
