Millis Daisy Troops create “Birthday in a Bag” for local food pantries

Millis Daisy Troops 83168 and 64074 recently conducted a “Birthday in a Bag” service project to commemorate the 110th birthday of Girl Scouts. The Millis first graders collected donations of cake mix, frosting, candles, balloons and more to create individual bags of birthday essentials. The girls had enough donations to put together 70 bags which will be donated to local food pantries.
Daisies in Troop 83168 include Madison Kitchens, Juliet Briggs, Isabella Canestrari, Kariana Vautour, Annie McDonald, Juliana Tahan, Dahlia Ward, Aanya Gupta.
Daisies in Troop 64074 include Josephine Houtchens, Madeline Hemingway, Enza Orifice, Eleanor Kazakis, Evelyn Lucash, Hailey O’Neill, Isla Kraby, Landri Conlon, Lilliana Sweet, Lucy Servideo, Maya Barenholtz-Bahnsen, and Nora Giles.
Troop leaders include Lindsay Hemingway, Heather Houtchens, Shayna Canestrari, and Danielle Vautour.
