Medway nurse recognized in annual Salute to Nurses Sara Sheehan nominated for outstanding work
Sara Sheehan of Medway was recognized in the annual “Salute to Nurses” published in The Boston Globe for her impeccable work as a Informatic Nurse at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center in Boston.
Sheehan was nominated by her colleague, Tammy B. Retalic, D.N.P., M.S., R.N., Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President, Patient Care Services, for her leadership and support that extended far beyond the technological aspect of her role as an informatic nurse. In her “Salute to Nurses” nomination, Retalic said, “This past year Sara balanced leading the nursing teams while preparing for the upcoming computer system upgrade, facilitated and guided surveyors through the many surveys, and provided leadership coverage during the most challenging time of the Omicron surge.”
The annual “Salute to Nurses” recognizes area nurses whose dedication and caring have saved lives, soothed fears, and eased the pain of countless patients and their families.
