It’s not too late to get your fresh, local vegetables!
Medway Community Farm still has seasonal CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) shares available; they are pro-rated. Check out the other CSA offerings for mushrooms, eggs, fruit and flowers. Visit www.medwaycommunityfarm.org for more details.
Medway Community Farm’s Annual Farm Festival and Beer/Cider Tasting will be held on
Saturday, September 16, from 12-4! This event promises to be loads of fun for the entire family!
The Farm Fest will be held on the farm at 50 Winthrop Street, Medway. Family friendly and kid’s activities include touch-a-truck, hay rides, face painting, arts & craft projects, hot air balloon, kid’s story time on the farm, and more. We’re thrilled to be hosting some amazing local breweries in our Beer Tent, including 67 Degrees, 7th Wave, Start Line Brewery, CraftRoots Brewery and Exhibit A, as well as local hard cider producers, including Stormalong Cider. Beer tasting tickets can be purchased in advance at Medwaycommunityfarm.org. Along with sampler tasting tickets, your purchase will also include a Medway Community Farm souvenir cup. We will have live entertainment in the main field, including live music with Matthew Stanley. There will also be entertainment in the Kid’s Activity area, too.
Bring your appetite, as food and drinks will be available for purchase, including grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, and much more.
During the event, be sure to visit local vendors who will be offering their crafts and wares for sale in our vendor yard, and don’t miss our farm stand where you can purchase our freshly picked seasonal produce, as well as honey, maple syrup, and a variety of other goods and merchandise. If you would like to be a vendor at the event, please email us asap at [email protected].
As if all this isn’t enough, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet Anne McGinty,
Massachusetts’ Ms. United States Agriculture, who will be speaking and helping out with Kid’s Activities! Be sure to mark your calendar, Saturday September 16th, and join us for a fun filled afternoon at the Medway Community Farm.
