Millis High School junior Vera Medvedeva placed third overall in the MA Region 5 Science and Engineering Fair at Bridgewater State University in March. Her research project is entitled “Silent Protectors: The Covert Transformation of Angiogenin in Cancer Defense.” 

She now moves on to compete at the state level on April 5 at Gillette Stadium.
